| DSICO
| | Dsico That No-Talent Hack was the rising star of the Sydnmey Mashup and Bootleg scene back in 2002 but somewhere he seemed to lose his way. The doldrums, the dreary, souless rehashing of pop icons and 90s hottest 100s Hits left him a broken man.
The new album "You Fight Like a Girl" details his ongoing struggle to put something back together, to piece back together a life, a future without bootlegs. He has fallen victim to the evils of sampling and sarcasm. but no longer...its time to say "no more mashups"! |

| FRANGIPANI
| | "Frangipani and the Floating Circus of Lights Featuring Newer Power Generation Versus Disc Jockey Hansom" (known here in as "Frangipani" or "The Band") is one of the most explosively original troupe of musicians in the domestic market. The Band's unique blend of hip hop energy with witty, satirical, and always humorous lyrics makes them easily digested by the contemporary music listener.
Coupled to this is the raw talent of many of the Bands individual members. MC Kiki Myers has an internationally sort-after angelic voice, whilst DJ Hansom is one of Sydney's top scratching DJs. MC's John Mayer and Fabian Cool have lyrical genius between them, whilst the remaining members (Force, Beanus McLure, & Frangipani) have all shown natural ability on their instruments of choice.
Frangipani is in a unique niche of Australian music. |

| THE HONEY PALACE
| | The Honey Palace is an alternate, psych-rock freakout band from Sydney! Just two months ago, The Honey Palace self-released a new five track EP, Love Junkie, recorded in Byron Bay and produced by Steve James (The Sex Pistols, The Jam) and the band.
Since then, the boys have been drumming up interest across this great brown land, playing 21 shows from Ulladulla, Canberra and the Blue Mountains to Newcastle, Byron Bay and Brisbane.
The Honey Palace are inspired by a lot of things: sweet soy chocolate...and bands like The Stooges, Fugazi, Radiohead, and Kamarl...because people shouldn't really be so unkind!
Love Junkie (MGM) is available nationally in all good record stores, and online at www.thehoneypalace.com. |
