| ENDUSK
| | ...Sometimes, the universe conspires to bring about a unique sound, circumstance, events, the six degrees of separation, musical expression- all contributing factors in a conspiracy to produce a new vibration; a sound wave...
so at precisely the right time - June of 2000, a snare, a voice, a rhythm, a conga and a chord was struck and thus became Endusk... Four years strong, Endusk have done their part in the Sydney rock scene and have gained a solid following by playing at some of Sydney's best venues along side Australia's finest including; The Testeagles, Cog, Regurgitator, and The Butterfly Effect.
April 2004 saw the release of their first E.P entitled ".01", and to introduce the long awaited ep to the public in complete Endusk style, the band played to a sell out crowd in the Metros Transit Lounge. What followed was a string of successful shows, and in early may Endusk got their feet wet in Melbourne, their first venture out of Sydney. |

| PAUCITY
| | "Were words but a little more adequate, what need would we have for music?
You can describe me in a thousand words what torment, desire, joy, frustration, fondness, awe, unsettles you and your words, in their infinite limitedness will lend me a vague and muddled understanding. But through song, through your soul's voice, you share with me a slice of your intimite past. I may know neither your thoughts nor your muse, but I do know exactly how you felt once, for the song strikes in me the faintest spark of your emotion. In that I take comfort.
For now, you play and I will listen....and perhaps, for a moment you can forget your paucity while you help me escape mine". |
