FBi is proudly independent. We were founded
back in ‘03 when it became clear that the music we loved
was very different to what we were hearing on the radio. A
gap had opened up between the music makers and the music media.
FBi is here to make good radio but that’s
not the end of our philosophy. We’re a mouth piece for
the emerging local artists (50% of the music you hear
on FBi is Australian, with half of that from
Sydney), we’re championing media with
integrity (every CD that comes through the FBi door
gets equal attention), and most importantly, we’re working
towards creating a healthy Australian music community
that supports our young artists.
We’re one set of hands turning the tide on music manufactured
from market research. By becoming a supporter, you’re
