How did you get into FBi?
Through the front door (boom boom) I’ve been a member since 1995 and participating since 1998.

What's your background?
Cellist, electronic musician, pure maths/philosophy graduate, book editor, internet server admin, etc...

What has been your highlight of working at FBi so far?
Putting people onto great music – hearing back from enthusiastic listeners is always hugely rewarding

Who's your favourite artist/band/act?
“Name one” – aaaaaaaaaargh! Check out my playlists at http://www.frogworth.com/utilityfog/ and form your own opinion.

What's your all time favourite album?
Yeah right.

Which star are you dying to get into the studio for an interview?
Alpha Centauri is probably the most hopeful prospect at the moment – only 4 light years away. And we would all die! Hurrah! etc, geek geek geek

What's your favourite club/venue?
Frigid, may it return soon! Venue: what’s left these days? The Vanguard’s cool though.

What are your favourite websites?
ilx.p3r.net, www.pitchforkmedia.com, www.guardian.co.uk, www.smh.com.au, www.google.com, etc

What's your motto?
Avoid mottos like the plague.

Who would you like to be for a day apart from yourself?
I’ve never had this desire. But, my made-up answer would be Danger Mouse. So there.

Which famous person (dead or alive) would you invite for dinner?
Nor this desire. I like having the other members of FourPlay over for dinner. When our new album comes out, boy will we be famous!

Who's your idol?
There’s nobody I can think of (self included, of course) who really fits the bill. Everyone has their foibles.

What gets on your nerves?
These fucking questionnaires.

What's your favourite movie?
Once upon a time I would have given the usual answers (Blade Runner, Baraka, The Princess Bride, assorted others like Kill Bill, Eternal Sunshine of the etc), but frankly I’m not sure I really want to see any of them again that soon. Currently working my way through all the Buffy & Angel DVDs, since you asked.

What's your favourite book/comic?
Name one, argh, etc. Book authors: Greg Egan, Charles Stross, Neil Gaiman, Paul McAuley, Ken Macleod, William Gibson, Jay Lake, Justina Robson, Jon Courtenay Grimwood, Kathleen Ann Goonan, Cory Doctorow, Kelly Link... the list goes on and on and on. Non-fiction we can stick to Daniel C Dennett, Douglas R Hofstadter and Peter Singer. Comics: Neil Gaiman again, Alan Moore, Eddie Campbell, Grant Morrison, Dave McKean, James Kochalka, Roger Langridge, Chris Ware, the list certainly goes onnnnnn

Tell us about the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you.
I was asked to do this questionnaire for FBi and... then I did!

What's your favourite food?
While I do make a mean schnitzel and creamed spinach and mashed potato (as is apparently widely-known), I am a big fan of Chinese food, and have recently discovered how awesome it is to cook Indian. So come over sometime for lamb korma, Indian spinach, fragrant basmati rice and more...

When was the last time you were really proud of yourself?
About a year ago, when I finished the last questionnaire. This time, I have a lessened feeling of accomplishment.

Any last words you have for our listeners?
“Hey, I didn’t even eat the salmon mousse!”
