SATURDAY JULY 31

JACK OFF WITH JACK SHIT 3PM

Jack Off with Jack Shit delves into the realm of dreams with SCHOOL OF SEVEN BELLS. Songwriter - and lucid dreamer - Alehandra Deheza will share tales of inspiration and a blissful tune or two with us live in the studio - joined by twin sister Claudia and the audio wizard weaving their sound, Ben Curtis. Tune in for your first chance to hear the trio locally - as they warm up for their one Sydney date on the way to Splendour, at the Gaelic this Saturday night, presented by FBi.

SUNDAY AUGUST 1

THE LIVE FEED 12PM

This week we bring you a live set from THE BOOKS, recorded at The Spiegeltent, Jan '10. The Books are an American folktronica duo from New York City, consisting of guitarist and vocalist Nick Zammuto and cellist Paul de Jong. Their music usually blends acoustic instrumentation with a diverse range of samples from cassettes and VHS. Beats are made using objects like children's toys and filing cabinets, which are sampled and looped.

The Books have created their own unique sound which is incredibly entertaining and emotive. We are stoked to be sharing this recording with you.

MONDAY AUGUST 2

DEAD AIR 11PM

Sydney thrash metal outfit DARK ORDER will be dropping into the studio this Monday from 11pm to talk with SCOTT FITZSIMONS about their new concept album 'Cold War Of The Condor'. Tales of the Pinochet regime await.

SUNDAY AUGUST 8

LOCAL FIDELITY 7PM

After postponing a visit to FBi earlier this year, Sydney art-making duo GREEDY HEN are finally dropping by the FBi studio for a chat on Local Fidelity. KATHERINE BRICKMAN and KATE MITCHELL from Greedy Hen have just finished making a video clip for CLOUD CONTROL's 'There's Nothing In The Water We Can't Fight'; their stunning illustrations also appear as cover art for Cloud Control and RICHARD IN YOUR MIND. And their unique handiwork - whether it's painstakingly watercolouring skies or animating whale blood - can be seen in the music videos for THE MIDDLE EAST, WASHINGTON and JOSH PYKE. So have a listen to Local Fidelity as Greedy Hen drop by, have a chat, and pick some of their favourite Australian tracks, ahead of their light installation at the FUTURE CLASSIC & AUSTRALIAN IN FRONT DESIGNER DISCO. After 7pm, with Lee Tran Lam.
